It was supposed to be wakame soup (yes, again), and I have already rehydrated the dried wakame as part of preparation. However, this is a twist of what I had originally wanted to do as everyone is not in the spirit for hot and warm soups when the temperature lingers around 90F.

I decided to quickly dress and season the rehyrdated wakame with organic apple cider vinegar, sugar and sesame oil, and it became a refreshing chilled condiment-appetizer delight.

Wakame Seaweed Salad 凉拌海带
Mix 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1/2 tsp sesame oil, 1/2 tsp brown sugar in a bowl, then add in 1/4 cup of rehydrated wakame and dress the wakame salad.
