NFC stands for
Near F Field Communication and in short explaination it means that smart devices are able to communicate with each other when there are in close proximity. In 2013 this will especially become a big hit because many retailers will be offered the chance to install
NFC paystation's, which basically allows customers to pay with their smart-phone. In many cases this will gradually replace actual payment counters. Nearly all new smart-phone releases from the end of 2012 onwards will be equipped with NFC-chips.
