Samsung, the market leader in smart devices is currently in the final stages of developing its own Operating System for their phones, tablets and phablets called bada OS. Earlier this year, we already learned that their new OS would merge with Intel's Tizen (formerly known as Meego), an open source project initiated by the world's largest chip-maker.
The merge will make it more easy for app developers to cater both Tizen as Samsung users, as both operating system will share the same SDK. Basically, bada and Tizen will share the same core, only the jacket will be different.
